DFI Day 2 - More adventures

Today was another busy day at the office. Learning about Keep - was amazing! Am really taken with this feature - love it. Is going to revolutionise my personal life as well. The Meet stuff was interesting - did my first ever recording of a meet - see the video above. Want to learn how to replace my face with a picture so I don't have to keep looking at myself. Get a bit blown away looking at how amazing everyone elses blog is - mine is pretty boring - to be fair a Friday afternoon is not my most creative time ah!!!
The stuff we have learnt so far is definitely helping my confidence in the digital world - we tend to do what we can and not challenge ourselves to learn new ways - am loving the challenge.

  1. Hey Julie, great use of the Google meet - presenting & recording :)
I agree with wanting to cover my face in google meet - never fun watching yourself back haha!

Your blog is looking great and i'm sure you'll learn some more tips and tricks over the upcoming weeks to change it up a little too!

  2. Kia ora ano Julie,
Don't sell yourself short on your blog reflections... sometimes 'pretty' and 'engaging' is hiding very mediocre thinking. The whole consumer marketing sector is based on that! What you have to say is important, regardless of how you 'think' you are presenting it. Love that you are loving the challenge! M

  3. Kia ora Julie. Great job getting your Meet recording up on your blog. Over the coming weeks we'll look at ways to change bits and pieces on your blog. To be honest, keeping is simple makes it really user friendly so I wouldn't worry about it being 'boring' at all. Did anything in particular resonate with you this week in terms of the Manaiakalani pedagogy and the focus on learn?

  5. Hi Julie,
Love that you're confidence using digital tools is increasing from this. I'm getting some neat little tools out of this that help me. I can definitely relate to the Friday afternoon drag, especially after a tough week in the classroom.
