DFI Day 4
Bit of a funny day - lockdown has thrown a huge curve ball to us all. Not sure how this will all work if lockdown is extended.
Have had to dip in and out - as my role as a Pastoral leader for Year 9 and 10 and the potential on-line schooling has meant I
have had tasks I have needed to complete for my own kura. Making me feel a bit dis-orientated to be fair.
I came into a deep dive into sheets - awesome - picked up lots of little tips - can't wait to have a play. haven't spent
alot of time on sheets so am looking forward to this.
Have had to leave training early as have commitments at school. Loved the work with sheets - feels good to get my head around these.
The biggest thing I am getting out of this course is the ability to feel confident to try new things digitally without freaking out
and thinking I would crash they system - mind you that may still happen. Feeling way more like 'we got this ' for next week as I am positive we will be in lockdown again for awhile yet. My worst nightmare!!
Kia ora Julie. Ka pai for juggling everything that was going on today. I'm glad you're feeling more confident and if you need any extra support, especially with any bits you missed today, then let one of us know and I'm sure we can sort something out. Take care!
ReplyDeleteKia ora Julie,
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to hear you are feeling more confident. Vicki Archer and I were discussing this week how some of the participants in our face to face DFI seem to have gotten over the 'hump' of believing that they simply 'can't' do something digitally... and instead now are starting to say they just haven't learned how to do it yet. Sounds like you are there too. All the best for juggling the balls for the next wee while at least. Nā, M
