DFI - WEEK 5

 Unable to complete session on line today due to work commitments - finding it hard to give this the time it needed.

With lockdown I have had to become very creative in my presentation and zoom meetings. We ran our normal timetable - 3x80min classes per day - via zoom and google classroom. My ability to control my 22 plus Year 9 students was appalling on Day 1 - by Day 2 had it sussed. In the last lockdown we only had 12 per class - this time it was normal classes. 

I thought I could use today to share some of the work we did using the techniques I am learning through the DFI process:

1. Slides - using on daily basis in Google classroom for learners

2. Jam boards - in online learning - students really enjoyed using these

3. Spreadsheets - student learning activities - working with students so they also learn how to effectively use spreadsheets

4. Use of spreadsheets to track student work - kids like the visual reminders of what they need to get done.

5. Encouraging use of Draw with the students
