DFI - Week 8
THE GREATEST HAPPINESS COMES FROM EMPOWERING STUDENTS TO TAKE RISKS IN LEARNING AND TO SATISFY THEIR CURIOSITY!! Today - my last day of doing this Digital Fluency course. Reflection - although I found huge parts of this course challenging I now have improved my confidence to give new things a go. I have a far greater understanding of how to better engage students using digital platforms. Lockdown was in fact , a well placed practise of many of the skills I have picked up along the way. For my journey this comes in the twilight of my teaching career - I started teaching in 1987 - had a 7 year break when my own kids were little - so I have been in the classroom and gym for 27 years and am fast approaching 60 and planning my eventual escape in a few years time. It wasn't until 1995 that we started really using technology in the classroom and not all of us did.
